Mexican Food at Moon Cafe
Every time I went out with my bestfriend our restaurant destination is always Moon Cafe, first was their branch in Ayala and then at Parkmall, maybe on our next day would be at their IT Park branch.
I love their food, they serve Mexican food like nachos, quesidillas and chimichangas. They got big servings and the price is affordable. I can also consider their food healthier than other restaurants, due to a lot of veggies added to their

dishes.
So if you're in the mood for Mexican or a healthier food that's light in the stomach and on the budget, then this is the place to be.
A Date at Casa Verde
A good place to take a date for a dinner or a family celebration would be at Casa Verde. It used to be an old house with a small restaurant in the ground floor and a boarding house on the second floor. There are also study rooms available. And the place was so serene with only a few diner, it has a very cozy ambience.
Now the business has grown and they where able to open 2 branches in metro cebu, one is in Ayala Terraces and at IT Park. Still offering the same, tasteful dishes. The place is always fully packed even on a weekday. Many has discovered there sumptous meal that is worth coming back.
Way back, it was the baby back ribs that I was addicted. Then later I started exploring their menu and I was able to discover the other mouth watering dishes. Some of my favorites are, Surf and Turf, a grilled beef meat with grilled shrimps, baked

potato soup, watermelon salad, a green salad with a twist of watermelon, mango and a mouth tickling dressing that is sweet. And to conclude a wonderful meal, I'd finish it with desert, Death by Chocolate. Yum. Nothing beats a sumptous at Casa Verde.
Unwinding at the heart of the City
Right at the heart of
Cebu Business Park is a world-class hotel, that house mostly businessmen and employees of multinational companies in conference and seminars. Just recently
Marriot Hotel has re-invented its facade to a sophisticated modern style living.
I have always like there interiors. the staff are accommodating even for locals like us. And the food? They have the best eat all you can breakfast buffet among other hotels that I have tried. Just thinking of there food spread all over the place from cuisine all over the globe, makes my mouth water. Lots of choices are offered and i just wished I have enough place in my stomach to cater to all these menu.
Right beside there restaurant is a pool. And even if its beside the walk way of Ayala Center, you'll still have the

privacy to enjoy lounging and relaxing in their pool area.
Over all the place is worth the price. And they also offer discounts, especially for the locals who want to unwind, right at the heart of a business area.

Enjoying Bohol at a Lesser Price
Bohol, a neighboring island of Cebu, has also been one of the top choices for tourist destination. A visit to their old churches, a trip to the Loboc River while eating lunch, and a dip to their white sand beach, these are just a few things that you can enjoy while staying in Bohol. But your choices doesn't end there because they have added an Extreme Adventure Tour to the list.
The moment I've heard about this I already prepared myself to try everything extreme that is offered (I'll be writing about the different extreme adventures I've tried in a separate blog). And we did try everything extreme.
If you'd like to visit Bohol and its your first time, I suggest to visit all the historic spot on the first day, everything worth visit can be covered in one day. And before the day ends you need to reach Danao, Bohol. You can spend the night at

Danao Adventure Park in their campsite. Its cheaper this way than renting rooms anywhere else. Since camping will only cost 25 pesos per head if you have your own tent. Or you can rent a tent for 250 pesos. Just remember to bring packed foods, since food there is really expensive.
One added activity when you camp out would be star gazing. You'll be amazed by the night sky crowded with stars. Maybe its because there are no other lights intercepting the light of the stars, that even the smallest star is very visible.
And just ride a multicab instead of an air conditioned van because the comfort of the van can make you sleepy. Making you miss all the beautiful that you'll pass along the way. And the multicab comes at a cheaper price. Then you can enjoy all the extreme adventures at a price lesser, than most people are paying.

Cooling Off This Summer
The sun is scorching hot and the humidity is too high. To beat the summer heat our options are a dip in the pool or drinking our favorite beverage. Lots of options for beverage, like soda, fruit juices or water. And sometimes watery fruits like water melon can help in quenching our thirst.
And how about drinking our favorite fruit juice with some fruit slices or chunks? Not a bad idea right? So here's a fun way of enjoying our juices in a not so conventional way.
Actually, its not something new. I first tried it at Moon Cafe (
another great restaurant worth visiting, I'll write about it some other time) and they call it Sun Coolers. Then I meet the same kind of drink at Aa's, I forgot how its called.

Anyway, the drink is really simple. Its just an orange juice with watermelon, orange and apple slices. And it really taste good! I'm not really a fan of apples but with this drink, I like the taste of apple combined with the other fruits, yummy...
So go ahead and make your own sun cooler and maybe add your own favorite fruit to personalize the taste. Don't forget to share it with family and friends!
Lunch out at Nuvali
During one of my official business trip in Manila, we were taken out for a lunch in one of Manila's newest hang-out, the place was called
Nuvali. Al fresco or dining outside with refreshing view has become a trend in Manila. And this concept has been adapted by
Nuvali.
Sumptuous dinner is not the only thing you'll look forward when you go there but also the beautiful scenery surrounding the place. It has an artificial pond with lots of fishes (
I think its a koi) that you can freely feed. They also offer a boat ride around the artificial lake on board a speed boat.
It's actually a very nice idea to redefine dining by adding a refreshing touch to the dining experience.

Seafood Feast
It was Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day, so many reason to celebrate, so we decided to dine outside. Ocean Garden, a seafood restaurant near JY square was our choice. It was not crowded like any other restaurants in the city at that time.
The ambiance was great, you can opt to eat outside or inside their air-conditioned room. The food was delicious and very fresh. It comes at a very reasonable price.
After we shared a very sumptuous dinner with the whole family, we went to another place to relax and unwind.
